Eddy Milanes has come a long way from pushing carts at Costco. What hasn’t changed is his heart of gold, desire to be of service, and tenacious work ethic. Born in Oklahoma City to his Cuban father and Columbian mother, Eddy learned early on the value of hard work and family.

Eddy has been a top-producing agent since he started in real estate in 2003. He has been awarded many accolades like Realtor of the Year and Top Seller, but the thing he’s most proud of is being 2008 Big Brother of the Year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. He’s been a mentor to his “Little Brother” Tony in the program for years. Tony lives with Eddy and his wife now that he’s an adult and applying to be a Firefighter. That’s the kind of man Eddy is.

That big-hearted love extends to the community of clients he’s built over the years as well. Eddy treats each client like family, giving his whole heart to meet their needs, back them up, and support them. Getting to be a part of someone finding their dream house is an honor Eddy deeply treasures; he also loves helping people create more stability for themselves. Most of his business comes from referrals, which speaks to his level of customer service and quality of care.

Although Eddy is naturally laid back and down-to-earth, he knows how to hustle when needed and is a fierce negotiator. He prides himself on thinking outside the box to find win-win solutions. Eddy will not sugar-coat things for you; he shoots from the hip. He’s calm in the chaos that sometimes arises in real estate transactions and helps clients prepare for the worst and expect the best (...and always come out on top!)

Before working in real estate, he worked for a mortgage lender specializing in foreclosures and short sales. This helped tremendously in 2008, when the market crashed; he rolled up his sleeves and went knocking door-to-door offering to help people navigate the financial storm and sell their homes when needed. This was his initiation into real estate; he’s a self-starter motivated by his dedication to be of service to others and help dreams come true.

Eddy is married to, literally “the girl next door”...his childhood next-door neighbor! They have two beloved rescue dogs whom they treat as children. When he’s not working, you might find Eddy cruising in his restored 1937 Ford truck, honing his photography skills, or enjoying food with his wife and friends.
